Steven K. Smith will perform on the mountain dulcimer at our Newark coffeehouse on Friday, July 17 from 7 to 9 pm. He is a regular performer at the Ohio Renaissance Festival, and a past Mid East regional champion on the mountain dulcimer. His playing covers everything from traditional folk to European Classical music, Celtic tunes to the blues. River Road Coffeehouse in Newark on 21st Street will proudly host the Word of Mouth Jazz Trio on Tuesday night, July 7 from 7 to 9 pm.  Ben Thomas on guitar, Rob Flax on violin and Ben Jones on bass wil perform jazz selections. Ben and Ben performed late last year at the coffeehouse and received a great response from folks who attended.  The addition of the violin to the trio is sure to make this a hugely enjoyable evening.

Customers can now enjoy their frozen lattes and wi-fi in our outside seating areas at both River Road Coffeehouse locations. The Newark store has recently added a decorative concrete patio with tables and umbrellas in the garden adjacent to our front entrance. We have also acquired new cafe-style tables and chairs for the Granville three-tiered deck that overlooks Lake Hudson. Come and enjoy!!!
